CHARO'S
PAGE
Charo is goofy, clumsy, she steals food, she's nosy,
more often than not getting into trouble
and she runs in the opposite direction when you call her.
But you can't help loving her.
Just because she won't take no for an answer!
You WILL play with her wether you like it or not,
you WILL cuddle with her wether you like it or not.

Charo was born against all odds.
It seemed Lola had finished her cycle when she met Amadeus.
They 'got together' just once, for just a couple of minutes.  An X-ray showed only two fetuses.
Although there are periods of rest during birth, anything over four hours generally means there are no more puppies
or they have died in utero.
It had been 5 hours after the two first coated boys were born and I thought that was it.
I was cleaning everything up when Lola let out a little yell and there came Charo.
A blue shriveled hairless little worm.  It was a while before I was able to make her breathe but she eventually gasped
and started to become more pink in color.
It was a slow start but she has not stopped since!
Gotta love her!
Who could believe one day my clown would be a mother...
Not that it changed her habits in any way!
But on July 30th, 2004,
Charo gave me three perfect puppies,
All strong, healthy and completely bald.
She knew exactly what to do
and turned out to be an amazing mom.
